Well the title of this post really says it all...I decided to make this blog to keep track of the fun, interesting, exciting and new things I encounter on my exchange year in France. I also thought it would be useful for friends and family to stay in touch and updated with my activities.
So, a bit about me. My name is Melissa, i'm 18 years old and I will be going to France for a year with Rotary. At the moment I know I am staying in a small country town called Villefranche de Rouergue in the Aveyron region of the Midi-Pyrenees. I don't know my host family yet but I am quite excited waiting to find out.
So far I have had two Rotary orientations and the final orientation before exchange is in December. If plans don't change between now and when I leave my departure date is January 23, just over three months!!!
